Exams in Madurai, Tirunelveli and Trivandrum

On the last day of May I’m travelling back to India for three weeks or so of examining. The tour begins in Tamil Nadu and ends up on the west coast in Kerala.

Getting there is a little bit complicated as it needs four flights, over three days, including a quick change of planes in Sri Lanka and an overnight in Chennai.

The first week will be in the city of Madurai, the work beginning on June 3, then it’s off by train to Tirunelveli for a few days and finishing off with a car trip and the final week in Trivandrum¬† – that’s the easy name version; the complicated one is Thiruvananthapuram!

Getting back is a little easier as it’s direct from Trivandrum to Colombo, with a little wait for the plane to Heathrow. Then an overnight at the airport and back to Leeds on Wednesday 25 June.¬† All being well, and a day to recover, that means lessons can start again on Friday 27 June.
